The AI Slop Detector is a custom GPT and Claude skill that grades your content so you know exactly what you're working with before it goes anywhere.
I built the AI Slop Detector around the six areas where I see AI give itself away every time, with obvious tells, inaccuracies, and spots AI will tell you your content is great, when it reads like everyone else's.
For each one, you'll get a score, a list of what needs to change, or a list of things to manually check before anything goes live, so your content is a 10 every single time.
The Voice Check: Is there a real, specific human behind this content, or could it have come from any brand, any industry, any Tuesday morning?
The Slop Scan: Checks the current list of AI tells from the phrases spreading through everyone's inbox, the rhythm patterns that give generated content away to the words that sound meaningful but say nothing.
The Specificity Check: Does this content describe a real, specific person or situation, or does it describe everyone and therefore no one?
The Repeat Offender: AI makes a point, then restates it, then summarizes it in the closing paragraph as if it's new information. This catches that.
Where AI Probably Got It Wrong: Every date, statistic, number, proper noun, and current claim gets flagged for you to verify manually. These are the spots where AI sounds most certain and is most worth double-checking.
